Jacobin magazine

Started in Winter 2011, Jacobin is described by editor Peter Frase as a ‘leftist critique of liberalism’.  It’s about time.  Although I enjoy Krugman, Dean Baker, and Joseph Stiglitz, whenever I read them I find myself wanting for a perspective that is more critical of capitalism and its function and tension with democracy.  I find that stuff fascinating.  So have a look, and tell me what you think.  Sometimes I’m not in the mood for long, wonky type essays, but I think they do a great job.

Also, Corey Robin is on the editorial board.  Much love.

You can certainly see your enthusiasm within the work you write. The arena hopes for more passionate writers such as you who are not afraid to mention how they believe. At all times follow your heart.

Jacobin Mag is the best modern radical journal. They bring on the lulz while also managing to smash hard critical points.
